We have become aware that Internet Explorer can no longer open up Voicethread lectures. If you use this browser, switch over to Chrome or Firefox. Microsoft has decided to retire the browser, so it is way behind the new standards. they are only publishing security updates now and even those will stop in 2020.
Whatever browser you are using, try updating the browser to the current version. You may also wish to try using a different browser than the one that is not working.
Unfortunately, Voice Threads seem to be temperamental with some devices and browsers.
An additional thing to check with ALL video lectures is to make sure you don't have pop up blockers in place. Many videos open in new windows.
We are working toward replacing them with other video formats over time, but this takes volunteers to convert them. We have limited volunteer hours to work with.
